Our Birdhouse purchase includes: the Birdhouse. The birdhouse is made from Palight PVC, and the weathervane is made from 16-ounce, 24 gauge copper. Each birdhouse and weathervane are handmade to order for our amazing customers so a little patience at times will be very helpful.

Since we make our birdhouses, weathervanes and finials to order - we will let you choose the type of bird you wish to attract. This is done by selecting the hole size and position of the hole for the type of bird you wish to attract to the birdhouse. You will make your choices during checkout.
Bluebird = 1.5” hole size and about 6” high on the birdhouse.
Chickadees and Tits = 1.25” hole size and also about 6” high on the birdhouse.
Flicker = 2.5” hole size and about 4” high on the birdhouse.
Flycatcher = 1.75” hole size and about 6” high on the birdhouse.
House Finch = 2” Hole size and about 4” high on the birdhouse.
House Sparrow = 1.75” hole size and about 6” high on the birdhouse.
Nuthatch = 1.25” hole size and about 6” up on the birdhouse.
Purple Martin = 2.5” hole size and about 1.5” up on the birdhouse.
Tree Swallow = 1.5” hole size and about 4” up on the birdhouse.
Warbler = 1.25” hole size and about 4" hole size up on the birdhouse.
Woodpecker = 1.25" hole size and about 6" hole size up on the birdhouse.
Wren = 1.25" hole size and about 4" hole size up on the birdhouse.
Each Birdhouse comes with Four Bird Holes - Two Located on front of the birdhouse and the other two bird holes located on the backside of the birdhouse. Each birdhouse has room enough to handle up to four bird families.
Clean out of the birdhouse is located under the roof of the birdhouse. To clean out bird compartments - take off the weathervanes or finials and then remove the roof and special spacer to access the bird homes underneath.
Once everything is removed it will be simple enough to give the birdhouse a good cleaning on an annual basis.
Please note: Post for the birdhouse is not included with the purchase. 4x4 post can normally be found at local hardware stores. Post for the birdhouses can be as small at 6' or as high as 20' in the air. Please do your bird research when selecting your birdhouse post.

Special Notes:
For Patina Copper - Patina acid is applied via spray/brush to accelerate the aging process. Applied patina look will vary on each bird feeder and finial and each will darken over time.
Our Birdhouses are made from PVC and can be painted but please note: paint should be a type of paint for plasics and lighter colors should be used on the birdhouses. Darker Colors can absorbe light and can cause warping or other issues with the birdhouse over time. Best to always check with your local paint shop if you wish to paint the birdhouse.
Our birdhouses, weathervanes and finials are handmade here in Eddington, Maine. Our birdhouses with copper roofs, weathervanes and copper finials are made from real copper and will turn brown, black, and then a green patina over time. If you choose to keep the birdhouse, weathervane or finial and keep them shiny, you can always apply a clear coat of exterior poly urethane over the birdhouse roof, weathervane or copper finial to keep them from changing to patina.
