This copper Horse Colonial Finial purchase includes the copper finial and mounting rod. The copper finial is made in the USA from 24-gauge roofing copper, each piece is hammered and bent to form a unique piece of masterful copper finial art that will last for years to come on rooftop home, garage, barn out outbuilding.

Please note: Mounting Rod is not needed on Finials that have a skirt since holes can be drilled at the job location and screws can be used. The finial roofing copper is strong enough to take the heavy winds that mother nature can send its way as long as bolted down to the cupola top or roof.

Our copper finial is made here in Eddington Maine using 16oz copper/ 24 gauge. The finial is copper and will turn brown, black and then a green patina over time. If you choose to keep the finial shiny, you can always apply a clear coat of exterior poly urethane over the final figure to keep it from changing. Our main Weathervane Retail Shop is located in Trenton Maine on route 3 headed towards Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Made in the Maine.
