State of Confusion

Good Morning Weathervane Fans, well it is cold outside today here in Maine. Dark and Cold. Not a lot more to say about it. Just Cold. My sweetie wife wanted to go RV Shopping this past week because she felt that we need to go Winter in Florida in future winters and after a bit of thought, yes that sounds great! So maybe next winter, my crew (three puppies and cat) and I will be warm in the sun in Florida thinking all these crazy colorful houses need weathervanes. Even RVs should have a great weathervane that went on the front of the pickup truck. LOL. On the fun side, I just wanted to share what little news we have going on.

Right now, we are just doing inventory for our retail shop in the hopes that our great governor will allow our tourist to come back to Maine this summer after blocking them last summer. We really miss everyone from all states but if we had to leave a state out that we did not wish to see again, I am sure it would be the State of Confusion which we have had enough of this past year.

On to new weathervane designs, ideas and just all-around chitty chat. Well not much here on the home front. Just in the waiting mode now to go to the molding company and get our new small flamingo weathervane. We have been told that it should be done in the next 30 -45 days if not sooner – so I am on edge that this one comes out great. My youngest daughter designed this flamingo weathervane, so fingers crossed folks that the bird weathervane comes out great.

I have two daughters that are amazing, and they have both been doing some of the design work and learning the craft. I do not know if they will continue in the weathervane business, but they have a fun time working on new weathervane designs. My eldest daughter designed the pineapple weathervane and she also did the Arts Theatre Mask Weathervane since she is away now in college for The Arts at Boston University. Very proud pappy here.

So, we all have new weathervane designs to look forward too soon, I have one great surprise weathervane that I hope of have finished at the molding company soon along with the Flamingo and a few other great weathervanes that I did last year. Hurry up and Wait is word for this week. Remember – Cow Weathervanes and Cupolas folks, is what we live for. See you all this summer!
