Our Standard Bird Feeder with Aluminum Color Roofing and Fleur de Lis Finial purchase includes: the Bird Feeder and Finial. The bird feeder is made from Palight PVC, and the finial is made from 16-ounce copper. Each bird feeder and weathervane are handmade to order for our amazing customers so a little patience at times will be very helpful.

Each of our bird feeders are open to the elements due to the weathervane mounting requirements in the roof of our bird feeders. This amazing design enables our bird feeders to be very squirrel and chipmunk friendly. The key with this fun bird feeder is to be able throw a handful of bird seeds into the middle of the bird feeder every few days. If you are opposed to the little critters that may come your way, then the bird feeder standing alone without bird feed will make a beautiful decoration for your yard and garden.

Our birdfeeders will fit all weathervane offered on our site. A cupola adapter is required for our shed size weathervanes.

Special Notes:
For Patina Copper - Patina acid is applied via spray/brush to accelerate the aging process. Applied patina look will vary on each weathervane and will darken over time.

Our Bird Feeders are made from PVC and can be painted but please note: paint should be a type of paint for plasics and lighter colors should be used on the bird feeder. Darker Colors can absorbe light and can cause warping or other issues with the bird feeder over time. Best to always check with your local paint shop if you wish to paint the bird feeder.

Our bird feeders and weathervanes are handmade here in Eddington Maine. Our bird feeders with copper roofs and copper weathervanes are made from real copper and will turn brown, black, and then a green patina over time. If you choose to keep the weathervane shiny, you can always apply a clear coat of exterior poly urethane over the bird feeder copper roofing and the weathervane figure and weathervane parts to keep them from changing to patina.

Not covered, tarnishing of copper, other acts of mother nature such as flying tree limbs, hurricanes, tornadoes, hail damages. Birds flying through glass windows of cupolas, rust on steel rod, any acts of mother nature not addressed.
