Our Select Bird Feeder and Finial purchase includes: the Bird Feeder, Copper Finial. The bird feeder is made from Palight PVC, and the finial is made from 16-ounce copper. Each bird feeder and finial are handmade to order for our amazing customers so a little patience at times will be very helpful.

Each of our bird feeders are open to the elements due to the weathervane mounting requirements in the roof of our bird feeders. This amazing design enables our bird feeders to be very squirrel and chipmunk friendly. The key with this fun bird feeder is to be able throw a handful of bird seeds into the middle of the bird feeder every few days. If you are opposed to the little critters that may come your way, then the bird feeder standing alone without bird feed will make a beautiful decoration for your yard and garden.

Our bird feeders are great for attracting many birds from warblers, nuthatch, woodpeckers, tree swallows, bluebirds, cardinals, grosbeak, crows, sparrows, chickadees, wren, finch, blue jays, and doves – many other types of birds are attracted to our wonderful bird feeders. Here in Maine you can almost always find a big flock of turkeys around the birder feeder and even a squirrel or two. Today is the day you need to shop our amazing bird feeder and finial combos.

Special Notes:
For Patina Copper - Patina acid is applied via spray/brush to accelerate the aging process. Applied patina look will vary on each bird feeder and finial and each will darken over time.

Our Bird Feeders are made from PVC and can be painted but please note: paint should be a type of paint for plasics and lighter colors should be used on the bird feeder. Darker Colors can absorbe light and can cause warping or other issues with the bird feeder over time. Best to always check with your local paint shop if you wish to paint the bird feeder.

Our bird feeders and finials are handmade here in Eddington, Maine. Our bird feeders with copper roofs and copper finials are made from real copper and will turn brown, black, and then a green patina over time. If you choose to keep the bird feeder and finial shiny, you can always apply a clear coat of exterior poly urethane over the bird feeder roof and copper finial to keep them from changing to patina.

We offer a 12-month warranty on everything sold in our store. We manufacture all our weathervanes and are proud to say our products meet the highest quality standards. Each piece is handmade and can have small imperfections which are part of the charm of having a one of the kind weathervane made just for you. Our warranty covers 12 months for all manufactures defects to your Weathervane Factory, weathervane, parts, cupolas, other items sold in our store. Not covered, tarnishing of copper, other acts of mother nature such as flying tree limbs, hurricanes, tornadoes, hail damages. Birds flying through glass windows of cupolas, rust on steel rod, any acts of mother nature not addressed. Really – if you have an issue, we will do our best to help even it is past the warranty date, give us a call – we are a family business and pride ourselves in being user friendly. We will do our best to help resolve any issues you may have if it is one of our weathervanes, or other products.
